Our Vision

At Oak Hill, we want every child to Achieve, Belong and Thrive.

We want our children to achieve, and to surprise themselves with what they are capable of. We want them to be curious, confident and determined, developing the resilience to keep going when things are difficult and feeling proud of their successes.

We want every child to belong. Every child matters and should feel known, valued and accepted as an important part of our school community. We celebrate what makes each of us different and want our children to care about themselves, one another and the community they are part of.

We want our children to thrive. We want them to be happy and healthy, to develop their character and confidence, and to have the experiences, knowledge and skills that will prepare them well for whatever comes next.

We are ready to learn, ready to have a go and ready to challenge ourselves. We approach new experiences with curiosity and develop the determination to keep going.

Respectful
We respect ourselves, each other and our school. We listen, show kindness and empathy, value difference and understand that everyone at Oak Hill matters.

Safe
We help to make Oak Hill a place where everyone feels physically and emotionally safe. We make good choices, look after one another and know that there are adults who will listen and help us.

Our Aims

Working together with our children, families and wider community, we aim to:
